A perfect slow day on the cliffs
By Home Sweet Home Resort · · 2 min read
There is a rhythm to a good day on the West End, and it starts slow. Coffee on the balcony while the sea wakes up, in the Original Penthouse, there is a hammock out there too, then down the ladder for a snorkel before the sun climbs. The water is clearest in the morning.
By midday, the pool and a patch of shade do most of the work. Lunch at the restaurant, a book, maybe a nap. There is no rush here, and that is the point.
Afternoons are for a little exploring if you feel like it: a walk toward the lighthouse, a boat trip, or a swim straight off the cliff. Or simply stay put.
Then comes the main event. The whole West End turns to face the water as the sun drops into the sea, and everything glows for a few minutes. Dinner and a cocktail follow, and you do it all again tomorrow.
